The gorgeous white milk-glass collectible Fenton handbell is in excellent condition. According to references, this is a Fenton hobnail handbell. While there are no discernible markings for identification on this beautiful white hobnail handbell, the translucent white milk-glass along with its petite appearance is very consistent with Fenton collectibles. The gorgeous hobnail lower section is in stark contrast to the smooth-sided handle - with the exception of its saw-tooth edges. The saw-tooth edges on the handle are actually sharp to the touch. The translucent white color along with the hobnail and sawtooth accents give this gorgeous Fenton handbell a Victorian Minimalist charm. Also, while it may be hard to notice in the pictures, this particular handbell has a very unique lower section as one side has a slightly crimped sunken area. This rare feature resulting from the actual glass-making process increases the collectibility of this particular Fenton hobnail handbell.

Please note that screen resolution and/or original lighting could cause the color to appear lighter or darker than actual. However, the handbell is very very white. Also, while we are not for sure if it actually came with one, there is no tongue with this handbell. However, the actual mount for the tongue string is fully intact. Given the collectible nature of Fenton glass, it is very possible that the handbell was boxed without the tongue installed.

There are no breaks, cracks, chips, or repair places on this gorgeous white milk-glass Fenton hobnail handbell. There are some very slight vintage wear, age, and rub marks on this beautiful handbell - mainly in the form of faint rub marks around the base where it has touched another surface. However, they are hardly noticeable - even when pointed out.

The decorative possibilities for this white milk-glass Fenton hobnail handbell are many. The china cabinet or display curio would be enhanced by the addition of this gorgeous milk-glass handbell. Also, the open collectibles shelf or bookcase would welcome this gorgeous Fenton handbell for its very very white color and hobnail design.
