The yarn used is called Peace Fleece, which is a chunky yet lofty yarn. The Peace Fleece company works with the Navajo Nation to offer fair market prices for the Rambouillet sheep wool raised by ranching families in the Nation. Their yarn is made of this Rambouillet wool blended with a domestic fine wool and mohair for strength, and is spun to be very deals lightweight, yet warm, trapping warm air in its layers.
