Beautiful, rare garden gnome of the Hertwig & Endert terracotta and toy factory (until 1941) from Dörnfeld / Thuringia around 1920 - 1930

The figure was probably reworked in the past with a kind of protective glaze (see photos), deals hence the brownish veil.
