Beautiful Rajasthani miniature art depicting 2 scenes of a courting couple on old paper
There are 2 different scenes of the couple in a courtyard.
The scenes are painted on an old page of urdu script, possibly a page from a Koran.
The page edges are uneven as the page is quite old.
The frame around the scenes measures 217mm x 115mm (8.54" x 4.53").
The frame is not centrally located on the page.
The painting appears to be watercolour, but I deals am not sure as the artists often made their paints from natural local materials.
