Antique Quilt Hand sewn and individually embroidered floral appliqué. This is the Poppy Quilt Usually in the 1800-1900 there was only one type of flower. This quilt has the Poppy and a the original quilt pattern. This quilt was made deals 1910 to 1920 period. For the age of the quilt, the condition is fair, while it has been well cared for as it was passed down, this quilt was actually used and sadly the backing (filing) is deteriorated, several of the flower and leaf appliqué show wear, the border is missing in a couple of places and a few minor holes are also noted around the border. The value of this quilt is $300 in its current condition. 86” x 74” This quilt will make a beautiful display quilt or project piece.
