These two beautiful trios are highly unusual. Their back stamp reads "Belmore China Australia", however, our extensive research hasn't shed any light on who manufactured them.

The asymmetrical gold handles add a touch of modernism, perhaps indicating they were produced in the late 1950s early sixties.

While there is some loss to the gilding on the lower portion of handles (see photo #7), as well as an approx 3 cm (~1.2") affected area on the front rim of one cup (see photo #9) each set is otherwise in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, chips, repairs, or even crazing.

Fabulous additions to your collectibles cabinet and just perfect for morning tea, these two trios are not just very stylish, but also quite rare examples of Australian post-war ceramics — and are very collectible.
