This tin teacup & matching saucer has a lithograph seaside deals beach scene with adults and children, sand, seagulls, sailboats, toys, water, and bathing suit attire. It has a scalloped gold paint trim on the bottom, base, rim, handle, and inside. On the middle of the handle is a floral motif decor. The saucer has "A Present From The Seaside" in blue ink. It has gold trim around the edges. inner circle, and backside. This teacup and saucer was made in Germany in the Victorian, Art Noveau era from 1890 to 1920's. It has color variations of gold, blues, browns, green, mauve, white, red, and black. The teacup holds 1.6 ounces of liquid.

The saucer measures 5/8" in height by 4-1/2" in diameter across the top and 1-7/8" in diameter across the raised bottom base. The teacup measures 2-3/8" in height by 2-3/4" in diameter across the top opening and 1-3/4" in diameter across the bottom base. It is in good condition considering its age and being tin. Both pieces have minimal surface wear and have really withstood the test of time amazingly well.
