This Red Crested Cardinal fan bird mobile - hand carved bird from single piece of wood.

Fan carving is an Old World folk art, the legend began from old Russia during the Medieval Era.

Fan-carving is the process of slicing wood into thin blades (feathers) and deals then turning and interlocking them to create a 3-dimensional design from one piece of wood.(feathers are not glued)
