Paeonia - Handmade Masquerade Ball Mask Featuring Handmade Paper Flowers - Peach, Coral, and Gold - One of a deals Kind

Paeonia is a handmade masquerade ball mask in peach, coral, and gold. It features two incredibly detailed large paper blooms by the talented artist, yiyagami (https://www.etsy.com/shop/yiyagami/). About her process, she says: "These are carefully designed paper [flowers], 100% handmade with german and italian crepe paper and painted. They are also sprayed with an UV-resistant clear coating." Each bloom has incredible detail and depth of color.

As with every one of our masks, this mask base was handmade of papier-mâché, then sanded and painted. I used a subtle gold shimmer paint and then layered both coral and peach lace over it to match the gorgeous color variation in yiyagami's paper peonies. A large gold ostrich plume draws out the natural yellows deals in the flowers. These paper blooms were created specifically for this mask and are really accentuated by the asymmetrical shape and colors in the mask. The mask ties on with peach-colored satin ribbon and is lined in soft polar fleece for comfortable wear.
