On deals the maintenance side, know that mohair is no more fragile than other wools... Here are some practical tips:
The goal is in any case to prevent your beautiful fabric from felting. To make wool felt voluntarily, it must be rubbed vigorously in warm water and with aggressive soap; this is what should be avoided above all else.
Washing is done at less than 30 ° C, with a soap or a special wool detergent, or mild shampoo; simply circulate the water (without rubbing) and then rinse in the stride without soaking. Do not use Marseille soap. To remove a stain, possibility of rubbing locally.
Machine washing is quite possible in special wool or delicate linen cycle (less than 30 ° C, WITHOUT spinning, special wool detergent)
For spinning, lay the garment flat on a terry towel, then roll it up like a snail so that the towel absorbs excess water (do not wring out by twisting).
