JVC KS-R5 Car Cassette Stereo Dolby B NR / Auto Reverse Fully Working! This is a very rare, high quality, JVC unit. I bought this to put in my 72 Cutlass but I'm looking for a pioneer unit. This is in near mint condition, fully functional and unrestored. I have done no work to this unit. The cassette plays, fast forwards, and rewinds with no issue. Not sure if the music search button works because I haven't tried it yet. Dolby B NR works, auto reverse works! This is in great condition. I replaced the original face plate with a plain one off a Sanyo ultrx radio because the JVC one was cracked. It looks almost exactly the same, the JVC one was plain too with almost no marking. There is absolutely NO RUST or oxidation on this unit and it is perfectly clean. Flaws: - I think one of the light deals bulbs is either very dim or burned out. - On the tuner display, part of the display is darker than the other, I don't know if part of it faded or something else.
