The Pitcher/Jug with its dark blue and copper glossy glaze is part of the large Blue Granite series designed by Maria Phillipi in 1965.
Maria Phillipi (1927 - 2004) was a German ceramist, who worked as a designer for the Soholm pottery from 1962-64 where she produced some very successful ceramic ranges

Marked with Soholm Denmark and the initials of the designer MP
