Crucifixion scene carved entirely from a piece of pine. The cross stands in the rock, surrounded by cattails (nicknamed the stick of Christ, after the staff of Jesus). The ladder, sponge stick and spear stand against the crossbar. The Christ figure is delicately modeled and made of white biscuit porcelain. The deals wood has a dark patina. The scene can stand or hang.
