The world famous Danish Georg Jensen Company introduced the Mitra pattern in 1941. Supposedly the handle is supposed to resemble a Bishops hat or miter. This version of the pattern has a satin or buffed finish. Another version of this pattern is shiny. Please check yours if you are trying to match pieces. The oval soup deals or dessert spoons are 6 7/8” long. They are marked with the Jensen factory mark as shown. These spoons were made in Denmark. Jensen stainless is currently being made in China. They are in excellent condition with no dings, dents, scratches, or other signs of excessive use. They have never been monogrammed.
