Celtic Desk Clock. This lovely little solid brass Celtic Dogs design clock features an authentic Celtic Art Design, which has a circle of solid copper rivets to mark the hours.
The small desk or mantel design was originally a special request from a customer who wanted a clock that would sit amongst and compliment her collection of interesting artefacts and curiosities. Other customers have bought them to enhance their desk space with something that expresses their individuality without being obtrusive. A friend of mine has one fixed with double-sided tape on the dashboard of her camper-van!
Lovingly and individually created by hand, one clock at a time, in my Lydiard Tregoze cabin workshop using simple hand tools and individually acid-etched using age-old techniques. While the design will be the same as the photographs, there will be variation in the hammering and patina, which is of course the joy of the unique handmade article.
No laser printing or engraving or bought-in parts*.
The face is approximately 103mm diameter and can be polished with Brasso Wadding. The stand is +/- 55mm front to back and can be removed to allow wall hanging.
*Except for the quality clock movement which takes one AA battery.
