I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frames are custom made of 100% solid rustic cedar with a dark ebony finish.
These are great custom framed items for any home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
Frame listed has a large total size of 13.5" x 24" x 1 1/2" x 3/4" with complete original Indianapolis Star newspaper dated Monday May 29, 2017 (IT'S BEAUTIFUL) mounted and included with purchase. Frames feature thick 1/8" Plexiglas with foam board backing..
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frames are 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick.
All hardware for hanging is included with purchase for immediate hanging.
Frame has a dark ebony finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. No two cedar frame are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. Texture of frame may vary from pictures shown due to the natural characteristics of the cedar used. The natural solid cedar can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar. Please note that original newspapers mounted are original and are not perfect as photo copies or reproductions would be. All original newspapers can have press folds and some color variations due to printing presses used but will have no tears or rips in the papers.
