Vintage Dark Purple Pitcher Amethyst Clear Handle Hand Blown Deep Purple Ewer Water Lemonade Milk Pitcher

Glass Blowers are true artisans – made with a deep purple glass and a clear handle, this pitcher it truly a work of art!

There is a soft, gentle roll around the top rim which follows through to the slight spout. The base has a slight well deals where the pontil has been expertly removed making a smooth, clean and stable. The handle is a separate piece that was attached after-the-fact, which caused minor imperfections. The base was attached through the ball of the pitcher causing a minor missing fleck and is slightly rough on the inside. The two pieces also have minor air bubbles, but nothing that takes away from the piece.

The pitcher measures 6-1/2” tall, roughly 5” wide across the middle, has a 5” long handle and is remarkably deceptive – as it holds 44 ounces very comfortably! It is in amazing vintage condition – other than noted, there are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.

Whether for the new collector or the connoisseur, this beautiful pitcher will be a lovely gift or addition to any hand blown art glass collection!!
