Product code: Orange blue Loetz deals Solifleur vase, Art Nouveau, 1910s

This extraordinary Solifleur vase by Loetz looks surrealistic. At the bottom of blue roots rises cylindrically the orange trunk, which has been covered with a transparent glass, from which countless striped and sometimes drop-like formations rise. Maybe you can also use the vase as a candle holder.
There are four blue hooks on the sides.

A very special piece and very rare artistic glass. A great collector's object.

The art glass manufactory Joh. Lötz Witwe was an important Bohemian Art Nouveau manufactory. Founded in 1850 by Johann Lötz, it was founded in 1879 by one of his grandsons, Max Ritter von Spaun, under the name "Joh. Lötz Witwe".
In 1883, the glass factory was also awarded the K. u. K. title, after which the glass factory was allowed to carry the imperial eagle in seal and shield. Well-known artists worked with Lötz, among others: Kolomann Moser and Josef Hoffmann. It also cooperated with Wiener Werkstätten, Argentor and deals J. & L. Lobmeyr.
Likewise, most of the world exhibitions were filled with special products of the company and awarded with the highest awards, including the Grand Prix Paris 1889, Prix de Progrès and Honorary Diploma Brussels 1888 as well as the honorary diplomas from Vienna, Munich, Antwerp, Chicago, San Francisco, etc.
Especially Art Nouveau works by Joh. Loetz's widow can be found in several museums and regularly fetches high prices at auctions.
