deals Vintage Madame Alexander doll, 17" tall, made of composition. She has light sleep eyes, red lips and a shoulder length auburn mohair wig. She is marked on the back of her neck and on her back "Alexander". I believe this is either Margaret or Wendy.
Her long pink dress has a tag in the back but the ink is worn off. Her dress is pale pink with a round neck embellished with lace. The skirt is sheer pink fabric over pink satin with rosebuds on the skirt and at the waist. Her straw hat has elastic under the chin and is embellished at the crown with pink bows and rosebuds. She has pink satin panties and full leg nylon stockings. Her shoes are pale pink with bows and a snap closure.
This sweet Alexander doll has some crazing on her face and her stringing is loose. There are a few tiny holes in the fabric of her dress and the rosebuds are faded. The elastic on her sleeves is stretched out. The bottom sole of her left foot has come off but does not affect the shoe as the inner sole is still intact.
I believe this doll's entire outfit is original. She still stands and shows well even with loose stringing. She's a sweet Margaret (or Wendy) doll for your collection.
