The combination of both amethyst and stalactites is rare, hence deals this stone is found only in few places in the world. It takes millions and millions of years to form stalactites. Their formation begins with a single drop of mineral rich water that continuously drips from the roofs of caves. When the first droplet falls down, it deposits behind a lean ring like structure of calcite. Over a period, layer over layer begins to settle on top of each other, and gradually, the minerals precipitate superfluous substances that form the diameter of the stalactite. Once the agate nucleus is complete, amethyst begins to form on the outside surface.
Amethyst is known as the ultimate stone for healing and cleansing because it's a storehouse of energy. Its crystal properties are deeply connected to the third eye chakra, the center of spirituality and intuition, and the crown chakra which governs our connection to the universe. It is often referred to as a natural tranquilizer because of its ability to calm the mind. On top of this, it can dispel negativity, anger, fear, anxiety and stress.
