The punches are oil-quenched tool steel that have been drawn deals for hardness and durability. The base is case-hardened and ground. You can cut soft sheet up to 18ga. The tool measures about 4" x 4" x 1".

This tool must be used with hydraulic press only also do not push die backwards thru cutter.
