▶  DESCRIPTION:
Here we have a great early 20th-century carpenter's wooden sash clamp. These are an adjustable clamp for holding large items, eg, doors and window frames, during their manufacture.

These would look good as a decorative feature in any former industrial or agricultural setting, or in a farmhouse study, they work well as bookends, holding books securely in position. They could also be mounted vertically, against a column to hold a stack of books.

These have been cleaned up to remove dust and grime, ideally, they would benefit from a coating of wax to enhance the grain and seal the surface. I have left them untreated in case you intend to paint them.
