This lovely French chemise dates from the mid 19th century, and is made of a wonderful study linen! This piece has a lovely vibrant CA monogram in red on the breast. This piece is unique in that it has a drawstring at the neck, so you can make it slightly smaller or larger at your ease! Despite some staining, (see condition details), this piece is great for wear, decor, or repurposed as fabric!~ I have many hundreds (thousands!) of wonderful French work wear in stock!! ~*~ ~*~

MEASUREMENTS : This textile measures approx.
37 inches long.
The sleeves measure 14 inches from the shoulder to the cuff.
From shoulder to shoulder, this piece is 19 inches.
The chest is approx. 44 inches .
46 inches around at the waist ~

CONDITION : This is in as found, not freshly laundered condition ~ This piece has some staining here and there as well as some holes, including along one side seam and a large hole near the front bottom hem. These could be patched or restitched, but they do not take away from this wonderful garment! Great for creative hands!
