Genuine Remington-Deluxe Noiseless, Portable Typewriter and Original Case Based on the serial number it appears this unit was made somewhere around 1938. The typewriter Appears to be in good working condition but I am not a typewriter expert. Keep in mind this unit is well over 75 years old, it performs well based on its age. The case is original but the blacking has mostly come off in a lot of areas I've tried to take a picture so you can see. But it does appear to be the original case.
