The bowl dates from the 1940s-1960s, based on the mark. It is well-marked on the underside with an incised Van Briggle logo. It measures approx. 5.75" X 2.75" X 2.75".
Van Briggle Art Pottery was established in 1901 and closed in 2012. It was the longest continuously running art pottery company in America. The original designs of Artus Van Briggle, the company's founder, had a significant impact on the U.S. Art Nouveau movement.
