Product code: Vintage Silver Inlaid Mother of deals Pearl and JetArt Deco Design Pendant 18
This is a Vintage Hand Crafted Mother of Pearl Abalone Shell, it has a wonderful play of color), and Jet, cut, inlaid in Mexican Silver covered in clear resin to seal. It's an excellent art deco design. I have added a magnet catch to make it easy to put on and take off. I wanted to keep the original pendant chain, a nice sterling silver, but the rings were so tiny, one was missing, I thought the magnetic clasp would end hours of frustration trying to operate a tiny spring ring and jump ring. If you'd rather have a spring-ring. Message me. I can make that change. This isn't a huge piece but it is a conversation starter, the uniqueness of the item and the play of color attract attention. The stamp on the back says "Mexico" pre-1979 deals they didn't use the numbers you see today, such as 925. We don't know the grade of the silver on this piece. But it is sealed on the back. I can see a fingerprint under the loupe next to the stamp, I tried to remove it. Then realized it was sealed to the back.
