In this needle felted scene from the edge of a woodland, a curious red fox is wandering through the moss and wildflowers. Crafted from my original design, using various hues of hand blended wool, dyed wool locks, and some silk, to depict this color and texture filled adaptation of a forest in spring.

Mounted and framed in a rich brown, solid wood frame ~ without glass ~ to preserve the deals textural aspect of the fiber.

Artwork measures approximately 8 inches wide by 10.5 inches tall. Outside dimensions are approximately 10.5 inches by 13 inches. A saw toothed hanger on the back makes wall display easy.

This would make an interesting addition for those who collect wildlife art, or for anyone who enjoys the colors of the forest and the textures of fiber art.
