DANCING FAIRIES TEAPOT

A VINTAGE SILVER PLATED TEAPOT FEATURING ONE OF MY OWN UNIQUELY BEAUTIFUL HAND-PAINTED DESIGNS

A beautifully shaped and decorative, antique silver plated teapot, which I have hand painted with silhouetted scenes of fairies dancing in a midnight glade.......

On one side fairies balance delicately on tiny flower stems blowing kisses on the other side they sit together with a butterfly fluttering above.... all around them are fronds and flowers sparkling with fairy dust....the scene continues behind the spout with a flowery tussock and butterfly and the handle has a tree growing up to the lid

The teapot body has been finished in golden lemon with intricate dotwork art in matching shade and white as a background to the silhouetted figures.....having a hinged lid decorated with dot art in matching shades and a small lemon floral finial handle

The original floral and decorative features of the teapot stand out in relief and I have highlighted these on the handle, spout and four legs in a gold colour over plain black

Measuring 23cm (9") tall to the finial on the top of the lid, 21cm (8.25") across from handle to spout, the body of the pot deals being 11cm (4.25") at the widest part...each foot measures just over 5cm (2")

All artistry is hand-painted in acrylics and finished with three coats of varnish to protect the design

Please note my teapots once painted are decorative items and therefore are not intended for use

Do not boil or brew !

Not dishwasher safe - please clean with a damp cloth
