Hand cut, shaped and polished, then individually hand painted on recycled wood, these statement earrings are little pieces of wearable art. The deals design was inspired by autumnal landscapes, combining warm and cool neutral tones in a completely unique abstract design.

It's easy to feel good about wearing jewellery made from recycled wood. Smaller pieces of this amazing material are so often discarded. All of the beautiful woods in my workshop were rescued from waste of one kind or another, many from my past life as a furniture maker.

Cutting and shaping each pair by hand brings a special quality to the shape and feel of the earrings, and allows me to produce very little waste in the making process.

After carefully painting each design on myself, I use a UK made natural beeswax and hemp oil wood polish to bring out the beauty of the wood grain.

This beautiful wood is English Oak, a real favourite of mine. I repurposed pew fronts from a local church into a pair of lecturns back in my furniture making days, I was very kindly gifted the remaining wood which I now turn into jewellery!

Wood by its very nature has infinite variations in grain and tone, making each and every pair of earrings completely unique. Add hand painted detail and there you go, jewellery as individual as the person wearing it.

DETAILS -
-The earrings have hypoallergenic surgical steel post fittings, and comfortable push backs.
-Each earring measures approximately 20mm wide and 70mm long
-The earrings come in a recycled and fully recyclable envelope, gift box and Tissue paper.

All my jewellery is made to a high standard, and will happily deal with a drop of rain, but please don't wear it in the shower - wood and water are not the best of friends! Also do your best to keep it away from perfumes and cosmetics.
