Prophecy deals Stone Pseudomorph

Pseudomorphs are some of the most fascinating minerals, in my opinion. One mineral is replaced by another retaining the shape of the mineral that's being replaced. In this case, limonite or hematite goethite replaced marcasite. They are fascinating and a little rare to come by, especially in such great and beautiful shapes and forms as these. They are found in all kinds of odd spikey, yet smooth to the touch forms. The marcasite crystals were originally formed on the ocean floor and over time morphed into the hematite. Fascinating.
