Vintage 12 Inch Jon Wolfard Oil Lamp. This paraffin oil lamp, was designed by Jon Wolfard in 1972 and has earned an international reputation for excellence in design and function. Featured in the prestigious Whitney Museum of American Art exhibition "High Styles: Twentieth Century American Design exhibit. Hand blown of very durable borosilicate glass using an exclusive "in-flame" glassblowing technique which requires higher temperatures and a very skilled glass blowing. Crafted in Sebastopol, California, each lamp is a work of art.Whether in your home or in a world class museum, Wolfard Lamps bring style and elegance to any room. All are beautifully hand-crafted and designed to be treasured for generations.
Stats:
12 inches tall and 4.5 inches at the base. Comes with a wick holder and a small piece of wick as it has been used.
Check-Up:
Excellent used condition. Has the original label on the lower section. The wick has been used. Does has paraffin oil smell from use. As always please refer to photos for best interpretation of condition as they are considered part of the description. Please also be aware that colours may differ in real life compared to what is seen on your electronic device.
