Lily Of deals The Valley Necklace Blues And Greens Floral Stem With Czech Glass Butterfly Necklace

~The centerpiece of this necklace is a stem of Lily-Of-The-Valley that I have hand colored and highlighted with cold enamels. I know that you are saying, "there are no lavender blue Lily-Of-The-Valley flowers!!" Yes, you are correct. At this time we still have just the white and the newer rosa color. I did take some artistic liberties here with the flower color. Near the bottom of the stem is a deals handmade Czech glass butterfly also painted, but from the back of the glass, in shades of blue and on the front with 24kt. gold paint to do the highlights. The colors have been sealed as a part of their more than 200 year old artisan glass making process. They also set a tiny lt. sapphire rhinestone into the glass at the top of the butterfly. The floral stem measures
2 13/16" top to bottom across, and it is 1" wide measured from tip to tip across the green leaves. The color scheme is lavender blue with cool white highlights on the open ends of the flowers and two shades of green with a golden highlighting used on the leaves. I have colored the floral stem on both sides and not just the front. You can see a view of the back by looking at the third photo above. Depending on the neckline you are wearing, this centerpiece can be worn asymmetrically or laying on its side sort of horizontally like a cradle. The chain that I used is a U.S. produced and gold plated oval mixed link chain. The base metal of the chain is nickel-free brass that was plated in a soft gold shade. The Lily-Of-The-Valley stem lies just under the hollow of the throat which is right at the base of your neck. You can easily locate where it is because you can actually stick your finger into the hollow of your throat a little bit. I made the right hand side side of the chain shorter than the left side, so that when you wear this, the floral stem will be climbing upwards on your right side of your neck. The total length of the chain and stem of flowers is 15"This chain will fit comfortably around the low base of your neck and it will fall under the hollow of your throat, so this is no choking choker kind of a necklace! When a chain is joined to a necklace centerpiece in 2 places, it will hang a little lower on the body than a single chain that is connected to the centerpiece of a necklace at the center front. Once on, you will forget that you are wearing this necklace, as it is so comfortable. If you want to wear the floral stem cradled, put the necklace on and then position the centerpiece in the front where you want it to be either climbing on one side of your neck asymmetrically or cradled in the center front with the floral stem laying on one long side. The clasp won't be exactly at the center back of your neck when you wear it cradled, but no one will notice that.
