Cherry with Food Safe Polyurethane finish.

One-of-a-kind piece handmade in my shop in Southwest Washington. This piece features outstanding Cherry wood with a natural bark edge. The rich wood produces gorgeous colors in the grain (see photos), with bark intrusions and the line of the natural edge make it a stunning piece! The interior design in the grain is produced where branches grew out of the wood. This turning presents a beautiful balance of colors, grain patterns, and dimensions. The piece is finished with a food safe polyurethane finish.

This bowl is made from one solid piece of wood that is dried and hand turned on a deals lathe. This process takes from one to two years to complete and will give you a bowl that will be passed on to future generations. This is a medium size bowl which feels sturdy yet it is not too heavy! It has a polyurethane finish. The finish on this piece is superb, you will be impressed! Instructions for how to care for your bowl are included.

A very functional piece for fruit, breads, candy, wallet and keys, catch all, in a classic design. It also Makes a beautiful display bowl.
