Trifari was founded by Trifari, Krussman and Fishel in 1925. In 1994 the company deals became part of the Monet Group which was acquired by Liz Claiborne in 2000. The Trifari trademark was no longer used after 1999. The Crown Trifari with copyright symbol was used from 1955 to 1969.
