Three symbols from Norse mythology crafted into stylish cufflinks.
Gungnir, the Spear of Odin.
Fashioned by the dwarves and 'obtained' from them by Loki, this spear was said never to miss its target and would return to the hand of its wielder.
Mjolnir, the Hammer of Thor.
Also forged by the dwarves as the result of a cunning challenge by Loki.
Considered by Thor to be the finest weapon in the universe, it was also used as an instrument of consecration and blessing.
Sleipnir, the Horse of Odin
This eight legged horse was the result of Loki disguising himself as a mare to waylay the stallion of the giant contracted to build the wall around Asgard.
The Sleipnir design was created by Mike deals Craghead at www.cafepress.com/mikecdesigns and is used under a Creative Commons licence.
These are individually carved in wax and cast in silver.
Attached to a chain and bar for flexibility and comfort.
I wear cufflinks every working day, this is my preferred variant.
