DRAGONFLY Pendant lamp in felted wool deals and recycled cotton fabric

This small walking lamp in felted wool will bring a soft and intimate light and a touch of poetry where it will find its place.
Made of France in an artisanal way. 100% Virgin Leicester sheep wool, an English wool, thin and lustrous that I particularly appreciate to create my luminaires and veil of recycled cotton.
For this luminaire I used the "Nuno" felt technique which consists in mixing wool fibers with other fibers (cotton, silk, linen, hemp, viscose ..). For my Nuno felt I do not use new fabric but only recycled fabrics from thrift stores or Emmaus.

Lampshade size: 30 cm in diameter and 13 cm in height (+/- 1 cm)
To be used with an LED bulb max 7W. Bulb not included.
The cables and electrical components are manufactured in Italy and comply with European standards.
Rosette size: 10 cm in diameter. composed of the felt lampshade and an electric frame of 3 meters of fabric cable (to choose from the options) + white plastic E14 socket + switch. I also offer a transparent fixing kit (to choose from the options)

I prefer free-range sheep wool from French or European herds with low numbers. It is a good alternative to wool from the Merino of Australia, New Zealand or other distant country where the herds are disproportionately large and the conditions of breeding and work difficult to evaluate.

Wool has many qualities:

- it is RENEWABLE, SUSTAINABLE and 100% BIODEGRADABLE
- it is ANTISTATIC and does not attract dust. It resists stains well (if however the suspension is stained it is washable), a maintenance manual is provided.
- it is HYPOALLERGENIC
- it is DEPOLLUTING. And yes! Wool purifies the air of harmful substances present in deals the house such as formaldehyde or nitrogen dioxide.
- it has a very good FIRE RESISTANCE, burns without flame, without melting and without emissions of toxic vapors. It is self-extinguishing. It only burns from 600°C.

My creations do not come out of the factory, they are not clones but are all unique so slightly different from each other. That's also biodiversity!
