The colors, shapes and textures of this abstract textile artwork were inspired by my local rural surroundings of farmland and old barns, and is the 19th finished work in my current "Ragged" series. All fabrics have been hand painted by myself, and thoughtfully hand stitched. My desire for this work is the hope that when someone views it they are filled with a sense of connection and the comforting awareness of the everyday beauty around us, even in all of its tender imperfections and raggedness.

• Made from my own hand-painted fabrics
• Hand-stitched
• Double mounted onto two pieces of 140 lb. white watercolor paper.
• Textile artwork area measures approx. 4.6" x 6"
• Inner mounting paper has soft torn deckled edges and measures 6"x 8"
• Outer mounting paper has smooth edges and measures 8" x 10"
• Work is signed deals and numbered on back side, (Ragged Series #19)
• Comes un-matted and unframed
• Will be packaged with care
• As with all textiles, it is best to avoid direct sunlight
