Stoneware Lidded Jar with Soft deals Green Ash Glaze

The clay is a white stoneware that I used in the 1980's when I deals made a lot of oxidation-fired functional ware with ash glazes. This one is a soft green, thick glaze, with a little orange coming through. The interior is a thinner application of the same glaze. It is 4.75" tall by 3.75" in diameter at the widest point. and the lid opening is 2 3/8"

Perfect for stowing away anything precious, like tea or other herbs.
