"Time (Passage)" was completed in August 2015. It was a part of the "Sands (The Vanishing of Time" show at Hamilton Street Gallery in Bound Brook, NJ.

The piece is on a wood-stretched canvas and measures 12" x 12" x .75" I use a mixture of Liquitex heavy body and thinner neon paints. I feel this technique gives my work colors that pop and add a layer of depth to the painting.

I have been obsessed with calaveras for sometime now and this is one of my favorites. The theme of the show was about the passage of time. The diver and the calavera are meant to be one in the same, with only time separating them.
