French Tapestry fragment 19th century woven The deals Textile Trunk

Hello and welcome to the Textile Trunk!


This fragment dates from the early 1800's or earlier and was probably taken from an upholstered chair as there were a few upholstery tacks and nails still deals clinging! ~( I removed them) ! It's hand woven tapestry fragment in deep dark muted, rich tones!!! Ideal for small projects , pillows or for any private collection ~*~


MEASUREMENTS approximately 27 inches by 9 inches
