20 cents Kingdom of Italy. Hexagon. Savoy coat of arms.
material: copper and nickel 250 750.
Weight: gr. 3.90
diameter: mm. 21.3
The contour is smooth.
Right: crowned shield of Savoy between two branches of laurel and oak braided; at the top, in a circular, KINGDOM OF ITALY and, down below, the initials AM author, Attilio Motti.
Reverse: hexagon surrounded by laurel wreath; in the field, in three rows, value and date; under the date, mint mark.
For these coins, consider an emergency, because minted in the period in which, for the needs of war, the nickel was valuable and indispensable, were used logs from old coins of mixed nickel, minted during the reign of Umberto I in the years 1894 to 1895 .
I DO NOT clean any of my coins to preserve the original patina.
