Ideal for creative hands Perfect for Christmas projects, I've used many like this for my own Christmas projects ( and others! ) ~ This lovely textile is a European mangle cloth! This cloth is in my Take it and Make it DEALS store category as it has condition issues! This cloth was used to hold the clothes while putting through the mangle ( wringer ) to dry before hanging! This cloth dates c 1920-1930's and is made of linen and some cotton. The ground tone has that lovely flax tone and the red and white stripes run up the length on each side!! ~*~ Ideal for many sewing projects Durable linen!! I've used these mangle cloths for everything from curtains, table cloths, table runners, I've made stuffed animals for my children from them, Christmas tree skirts, stockings and pillows! Very versatile fabric ~ it's important to see the condition details below as some are in poor condition and some great! They are a versatile textile ideal for creative folks! ~*~
MEASUREMENTS: This lovely fabric measures approximately 121 inches by 35 inches long.
CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. This textile has many tiny and small holes ~* there are some dirt marks too ~*~ So please consider it ideal for projects ~ All condition reflected in the price, ideal for creative hands!! This textile has been in storage for over 25 years and it's musty almost oily smell from having been used in the mangle!! ~ and must be laundered ~ ~ it can be machine washed on warm with normal detergent and hung to dry ~*~ Only suitable for creative projecting hands! ~* :)))
