BOREALIS Light Blue Bib Necklace with Vintage Iridescent Blue Brooch, Repurposed deals Earrings, Pendants and Beads

BOREALIS This versatile showstopper would look as good with a teeshirt and jeans as it would at the wedding. The centerpiece is a vintage starburst-shaped light blue borealis-effect brooch. Glorious tidbits surround it symmetrically: iridescent faceted beads, repurposed iridescent rhinestone "comma" earrings, iridescent teardrop pendants, deals sky-blue paste flowers with exquisitely large centers, and tiny iridescent pendants. On the chain above is arrayed a handful of vintage crystal iridescent faceted globes the size of marbles. Filigreed links from a 1990s bracelet frame the silver tone links around the neck. The extender chain is made with small iridescent crystals.

This piece is meant to hug the clavicle. It is 14 1/2 inches in length, and the extender can add another 3 inches. The drop is just shy of 4 inches. The bib is 6 inches.

Kristianna finds that the limitations of working with older materials inspire her creativity. She feels that there are so many beautiful things from the past no longer worn or enjoyed, and it is a pleasure to use these materials to create something fresh and modern. She is inspired by how colors, shapes, and textures interact and how objects from different eras can affect one another.
