1920s Vintage Bookends of a Young Girl & Puppy deals "Playmates" by John Ruhl, Armor Bronze Figural Bookend Set, Antique Home Office Decor

This is a set of antique bookends depicting a young girl reading to her puppy. On the front on the bookends it is titled "Playmates". These were designed by John Ruhl, a well known sculptor. They were made by Armor Bronze, a foundry that operated until the 1940s. This pair is listed in their catalog from the 1920s. They would make a wonderful accent for any home office or family room.

The bookends are in good antique condition with normal wear and age. The deals fabric on the bottom is loose and faded but I found no damage on the bookends.
