Description:
It is in Phyllanthaceae Family, originally from Thailand and is the only one in this family in caudiciform. This caudiciform is 9*4 cm. wide and 9 cm in height. and approximately 9-10 years old has red coppery colour leaves.

The plants originally be found on high mountain 100M above sea levels on the rock where has some mosses grow to keep them moisture. They love cool (12-30C), dry but humidity climate in the shading area. Another peculiarity of this plant is that the leaves fold together in pairs like butterfly wings at dusk, and open again in the morning. It is one of a slowly growing plants. It cultivation it is a nice bonsai plant.

In youth the base of the stunk becomes fat (caudiciform), with contorted branches. The plants with caudexes are those that grow in the dryer areas where they remain stunted and where caudex never disappears. If the plant is cultivated in the ground (in rich deals loamy soil) the caudex disappears and the Phyllanthus becomes a tree. If we want the plant keeps all its distinctive characteristics it may be grown in the the way of Bonsai. One should also knows that specimens with caudex of 10 or more centimetres in diameter are certainly very old plants (several decades)

It is very easy to plant and go well in full-sun or also inside the house where has sunlight. The temperature could be between 40C-15C and don't need watering much same as cactus and succulents care. Also the mixture should be well-drainage soild where you can find in local area (or can use the mixture of cactus soil).

Watering:
As cactus, succulents and other caudex/bulbs, they can be watered copiously as long as the medium is open and well drained. As with any normal plant when watering, it is best to do so thoroughly, until a little water comes out through the drain holes. Allow the medium to dry out somewhat between waterings. Reduce watering to once every 1 month during winter. Stop to water around ten degrees. Space plants apart to allow air movement between branches and leaves. This will help with evaporation of extra water droplets collected during watering.


Light:
It doesn't need much sun and love to be in shading sunlight. The full sunlight can burn their leaves.


How to grow:
1.When you receive the caudex, put root in the well-drainage mixture only caudex above the soil.
2.Leave the plant in shading area couple of days then can move to partial sunlight.
3.After 3 weeks - 2 months depending to weather and healthy of each caudexs, the first sprout will grow.
4.Watering it when the soil is completely dry. (check the humid with the toothpick)

Please contact your customs for the import permit papers, before ordering the plant products. The customs in your country may be stricted to import any plant products into your country.


SHIPPING TO AUSTRALIA:
It is very hard to import to Australia. Please check with the AQIS (Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services) on import requirements. Then please send the copy of your import permit papers to us and we will provide the Phytosanitary Certificate to you.

•Plants are shipped with buyer's risk. We do pack all packages in the best way as we can but if any damages occur from the transit it is beyond our responsibility.

•However if the plants are died or rot in the box after receive within 15 days, please take the photo and send to us via etsy chat. We will send you the replacement (buyer need to pay for shipping cost) or refund.
