I bought this new and planned to use it for studio interviews w Pocket Cinema 1080 camera that was stolen and never used it but tested it after purchase to make sure it worked. Before shipping to the buyer I will test it again. It comes w a battery pack that uses AA cells so you don't need external power. This was purchased separately but included in the bundle.
