This lovely textile is a sturdy, twill weave cotton antique pillow case dating to approximately 1890 - it's beautiful! The ground tone is a soft aged white and the floral and stripe print is in shades of deep berry red, soft beige tones with a hint of purple, and a beautiful mustard gold - gorgeous color combination! This would be perfect to use again as a pillowcase but could also be deconstructed and used to make a set of deals pillows, a lampshade, or so many other wonderful sewing projects!

MEASUREMENTS: This lovely textile measures approximately 22 inches wide by 25 inches long - but of course if you were deconstructing this to use the fabric you would get twice that amount!

CONDITION: This pillowcase has been freshly laundered and is ready to use! The seam to slip the pillow in at one end was opened out and is not hemmed. The other end has a mend that looks to be machine stitched, and there are a couple of other small mends that were done by hand! This textile isn't perfect, but it's perfectly wonderful for anyone who appreciates the signs of time and use inherent in these lovely antiques!
