4 Exquisite Demitasse or Tea Cups and Saucers by Spode, Circa 1920's

DESCRIPTION
• antique Spode Jewel Copeland by Spode, pattern 2-8173
• made in England, Reg # 70392; US Pat. June 15th 1926
• hand painted brilliant multicolored central emblem of vase of flowers on ivory porcelain china
• hand printed floral vase inside of cup; dainty gorgeous flowers cover cup handles ( love this detail)
• scalloped edges with lacy embossed design on saucers and cups
• rare find; pieces for this pattern are very hard to find
• cups measure approximately 2 3/4" wide x 2 1/4" tall - saucer 4 7/8"

CONDITION
• very good vintage condition, especially considering the age of these pieces
• colors are brilliant - no color fade noted
• no cracks or chips
• some crazing on the the underside of 3 of the 4 saucers
• fabulous cabinet display or to use, of course!
