Outstanding style with this Vintage Betmar cloche hat, made of fine Italian braided straw in black with a patent leather band that goes around and up and over, bow in front. I've just had it professionally blocked by a local millinery. Shout out to American Hats LLC, here in Philly. I was told it's Paglina.
Looks very striking, cool and edgy.
Comes with original Macy's hat box which is in acceptable condition.
Good condition.
21" inside band. deals 5" high. Brim is 1.25" back and gradually becomes 2" in the front.

About Betmar: Betmar's history goes back to the depths of the Great Depression in America. The year was 1933 - The hat business was flourishing in spite of the difficult economic times. Wearing a hat was part of every day dressing for men and women. Betmar, a new brand focused on women's millinery, was in need of a strong factory.
