There's something about this piece that is so charming. The gold paint is generously hand applied over cobalt blue and white porcelain. It is in very nice antique condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and only very minor wear to the gold in just a few spots. I have to admit, that I kept this for quite a while before offering it here; it's just that gorgeous. The stamp dates this to approximately 1891.
